John Hotowka lives in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.
Since 1982 Hotowka has become a most highly regarded practitioner of sleight-of-hand magic. The variety and humour in his act, has acknowledged John as being one of the best and, above all, entertaining close-up and after dinner magical speakers of his generation.
John attracts crowds at exhibitions and attention at sales promotions and conferences. He acts for companies in every field of business from retailing to manufacturing, from pharmaceutical to finance.
Over the years, John’s skills as a magical speaker have been employed, in a number of ways. Some clients prefer to save him till the end of a conference so it finishes on a high note. Others will use him immediately after lunch during the ‘grave yard’ slot or throughout the day, either before each speaker, to intrigue the audience and capture their attention, or after a session to summarise the key points.
As an after dinner entertainer his passion is to have fun as he creates extraordinary comedic situations with his ‘volunteer’ from the audience.
John loves to travel and has often presented in some very unusual venues including an aircraft hanger, an art gallery and the top of the Telephone Tower in Berlin.
